I have oily skin and I sweat during the heat of summer, making my eyeshadow disappear. Do you know of an eyeshadow that will last and stay on under these conditions?

Cream eyeshadow is perfect for those hot & humid days, because it stays put & gives your eyes a dewy look to them. Cream eyeshadow is also more pigmented than your regular power eyeshadow, so the color comes out true & vibrant. & it’s creaseless, so the coverage stays even.

Before applying the cream eyeshadow, dust some translucent powder on your eyelids to rid them of moisture. Use your ring finger & dab the cream onto your lids. Don’t smear, because you’ll be “rubbing it in” so to speak. Just dab & press lightly until enough shadow it on your lids. For extra assurance, find a powder eyeshadow in the same shade & lightly pat it over the cream with a brush. This isn’t necessary, of course, but if you’re really concerned that the cream won’t last, powder over it should do the trick.

The cream shadow will feel a lot heavier on your lid than regular powder eyeshadow, but it’s the perfect solution to your summer makeup meltdown.
